Shakespeare has been revered for Centuries after his death yet he was already being revered during his time here on Earth. Shakespeare has been a major influence on the literary world for all levels of education. As we grow up through life and going to Elementary School, Junior High and High School we are taught that William Shakespeare was the original Author of so many plays, sonnets and poems, most notably Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth, Hamlet and A Midsummer Nights Dream. The study of such of a literary master has played a huge role on our studies of literature and how we go about the methods we use for modern times poetry and the methods we use for fiction writing as well.
Yet a defining debate is still raging like a wildfire till this day.
Did William Shakespeare really write all of his plays, sonnets and poetry?
So much debate and emphasis have been placed as to the meaning of his plays and sonnets. During the time of William Shakespeares existence, political turmoil and scandalism became the norm within the royal family. As the 2011 movie "Anonymous" would suggests, its one of many debates revolves around the possibility that Shakespeare stole the work and therefore was not the original author of all the plays and sonnets. Another debate exists suggesting that if William Shakespeare was the original author of all the plays, sonnets and poetry, that it suggests he was sneakily writing about Queen Elizabeth and the Royal Family.
Regardless of the inspiration behind William Shakespeares writings, if he did write it all, will eternally last throughout the ages and continue to influence new and big time authors.
